Shirley Chisholm- Unbought and Unbossed

Shirley Chisholm,1927 presidential candidate and the first African-American woman elected to the U.S. Congress died January 1, 2005. Her autobiography, Unbought and Unbossed (Houghton Mifflin, 1970) outlines her political history.
